CSF - CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION SEALBEARER AWARD RECIPIENTS

Congratulations to Seniors who received the CSF Sealbearer Award! Lifetime CSF Sealbearer members are recognized for exemplary academic achievement and dedicated service to the community.

COLLEGE MAP SENIORS

Congratulations to our Seniors for completing the College MAP Program! College MAP - Mentoring for Access and Persistence - an Ernst & Young corporate volunteer program that partners professionals with students who are working hard to attain their college dreams. Mentors develop a strong relationship with students, helping them navigate the application and financial aid process, provide access to resources, and expose them to the benefits of higher education. MAP curriculum monthly workshops, college visits, and tutoring.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PROGRAMME - SENIOR DIPLOMA CANDIDATES

We’re very proud to recognize our 2020 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Candidates! These Seniors have completed a challenging academic program, including three core IB components (Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and CAS - Creativity, Activity & Service, where most work is accomplished outside of the classroom). Our Seniors have been dedicated learners, persevered, gained vast knowledge, and have become global citizens. In addition to their rigorous course schedules, our Diploma Candidates are active members - on and off campus - in clubs, athletics, performing arts, organizations, work commitments, and have volunteered in the community.

AVID (ACHIEVEMENT VIA INDIVIDUAL DETERMINATION) - SENIOR GRADUATES

Congratulations to our 2020 AVID Graduates!  The AVID Program supports students along the path to college and career success, equipping Graduates with skills and confidence to face challenges. One of the most endearing things about the AVID Program is the family atmosphere in class and on field trips, and the lifelong friendships made at Del Mar (some having continued from middle school too). #GoDons!

MCJROTC (MARINE CORPS JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS) SENIOR COMMENDATIONS

Congratulations to Senior Officers - Melissa Valencia and Anthony Ruiz!

MCJROTC is a military science program that includes leadership lectures and experiential learning. Cadets use their leadership training as they assume positions of increased authority and responsibility within Del Mar. Our recognized Officers exemplify the three main tenets of the MCJROTC program: to develop citizens of integrity, develop confidence through professional communication, and develop open minds/hearts that can solve group challenges. The best part of the MCJROTC program at Del Mar is that students build each other up, and care about each other like a family (proudly said by Major Richard Ruiz).
