About Me

Hi, My name is Ms. Lovin or Dr. Lovin.
I have a lot of school experience having graduated from various universities (UC Davis and USF).  My education ranges with degrees in International and Multicultural Education, social linguistics, Sociology, History and Psychology.  But most importantly, I graduated from Del Mar High School years ago!  My heart is here at Del Mar High School....I never left!

I love learning about how people interact and communicate with each other.  Culture and perspective play a huge role in the dynamics of relationships and sense of community.  Del Mar has been and still is a great community made up of diverse teachers and awesome students.
My role as a teacher is to be the best mentor that students can have while they are growing here at Del Mar and beyond into their adult lives.

When I am not at Del Mar I am teaching at UC Santa Cruz or I am travelling with my family.
