Bienvenue à la page de Madame Saadé!
Welcome to Ms. Saadé 's page!
I am teaching French 1, French 3, and IB French (SL) this academic year (2017-2018). I hold a Master of Arts in French Literature and a BA degree in French language and a Minor in Spanish. I speak three other languages besides English.
I love to travel and discover new countries and cultures. The best part about teaching for me is building communities and providing a safe place for my students to learn all aspects of the Francophone countries, including, but not limited to language, cooking, celebrating French holidays, fashion, art and music.
At Del Mar, I have been the advisor to the French Club for three years. Our club members hosted several events like celebrating Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, Christmas in France and Francophone countries in Africa, plus back to school night.
I am excited to announce that Del Mar High School is now (as of June 4, 2018) duly chartered and accorded full privileges as a CHAPTER in the National Société Honoraire de Français by the American Association of Teachers of French. As the Société Honoraire de Français Sponsor, I will be sending invitations to the qualified French candidates soon. For more information on how to qualify, please click here.
I will be taking around 30 Del Mar Students from the French language classes to France during the 2018-2019 School Year. This trip is organized by EF Educational Tours. The event is not sponsored by CUHSD. I am looking forward to stroll the streets of Paris and the Promenade des Anglais in the French Riviera with my students.
