About Me

Hi, my name is Tiffany Cheng and I teach Chemistry and Forensic Science at Del Mar. Additionally, I am the advisor for the Del Mar CSF (California Scholarship Federation) chapter.

I attended Carnegie Mellon University and received my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Shortly after attending Carnegie Mellon, I became a Teach For America Chicago corps member. This experience allowed me to begin my journey to become a secondary science teacher. While teaching inner-city students in Chicago, I was able to complete my Master's degree in Secondary Teaching from Dominican University.

My passion for teaching stems from being an older sibling. I have always loved the process of learning and sharing. As a science teacher I get to help students problem-solve, think critically, and communicate effectively. I feel so fortunate to be a teacher at Del Mar and to work with such an amazing group of students and colleagues.
