WELCOME TO THE FALL SEMESTER, DEL MAR DONS!
 
We hope everyone is keeping well. The safety and wellbeing of our Students, Parents, Staff and Community continue to be of utmost importance.
 
This webpage provides information related to the Fall 2020 Semester and Distance Learning, including weekly updates from Principal Lopez. Please note all information is subject to change as we receive guidance from CUHSD and the County Education and Health Departments.
 
In addition, please remember that many Shelter-in-Place Resources are available for Families on our website at: delmar.cuhsd.org/apps/pages/shelterinplaceresources. Resources include employment opportunities, free meal locations, food pantries, job loss and rental nonpayment assistance, immigrant and undocumented family assistance, and mental health resources provided by CUHSD.

Registration Information for 2020-21 School Year

REGISTRATION/ENROLLMENT INFO FOR RETURNING & NEW STUDENTS
 
Returning Students Entering Grades 10-12
 

Every year, every student's data must be verified online by a parent(s)/guardian(s). Please refer to the letter mailed home from Campbell Union High School District for instructions on the Annual Emergency Card Update via Aeries. The Aeries Parent Portal can be accessed at: campbelluhsd.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx.

 

If you need support in English or Spanish with the Aeries Parent Portal, please call the support hotline at (408) 558-3080, option 8, from July 29 to August 7, 10am to 7pm.

 

Once you have completed the Annual Emergency Card Update, we recommend that students add the Aeries Student Portal app for communication and parents/guardians add the Aeries Parent Portal app.  We will be utilizing Aeries communication for the 2020-2021 school year.  Schedules will be released by August 6th, 2020 if the annual emergency card update has been completed.

 

Incoming In-District 9th Grade Students  
 
Incoming 9th grade students from our feeder middle schools will also complete the registration process online. Student data must be verified online by a parent(s)/guardian(s) before the start of school, via the Aeries Parent Portal as instructed in the letter from Campbell Union High School District (and as noted above).
 
New Students
 
If you are a new student interested in attending Del Mar High School, please visit one of the following websites based on your residency and needs.
 
In-District Residents Wishing to Attend Del Mar (when Del Mar is their Resident School):
 
The enrollment/registration process is completed online, and facilitated by an Assistant Principal and Guidance Counselor. Please visit our District's website for instructions and additional information, at: www.cuhsd.org/apps/pages/enroll.
 
Transfer Students (Intradistrict & Interdistrict):

ANNOUNCEMENT: Calendar/Schedule Change:
 

A reminder there is no school on September 28. Additionally, we have set aside Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2*, for teachers to work on further improving their skills their online classroom facilitation to better support and connect with students. On these days, students will follow the same schedule as a Wednesday, which includes connecting with their outreach teacher, completing work independently and participating in online activities or events.

* Please note these dates are still being finalized and approved.

ATHLETICS UPDATE - JULY 20, 2020
 
The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) released a statement on July 20th, 2020, regarding Athletics for the 2020-21 school year. Following the CIF announcement, the CIF-Central Coast Section (CCS) and Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL) also made announcements regarding the state of high school athletics during the COVID-19 pandemic, and guidelines/calendar changes in seasons, practices and play during distance learning.  Below is a summary of the recent announcements. We will update our school community with new developments as we receive them from CIF, BVAL and CIF-CCS.
