Basketball - Boys

Number of Teams: 2 - Varsity and Frosh/Soph. 

Tryouts: We usually have over 40 young men trying out for these very competitive teams. Every athlete trying out is accorded 3 days of tryouts, with team selection occurring after the 3rd day. Each team carries between 11 and 14 athletes. Athletes who are participating in a fall sport must wait until the end of their sport to try out, and at that time will be accorded a full tryout.

Season:  Winter Season of sport, which runs from October to February.

Schedule/League:  The team has 14 league matches in the BVAL West Valley Division . BVAL West Valley consists of Andrew Hill, Gunderson, James Lick, Lincoln, Mt. Pleasant, San Jose, and Yerba Buena

CCS Playoffs:  Central Coast Section Playoffs are for Varsity only and is played the last 2 weeks in February

League Championships: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012, 2007, 2013

CCS Awards: 2013 CCS Scholastic Team
