There are numerous costs associated with high school sports. The Athletic Department covers the basic needs for each sport so that student/athletes may participate in the sport. Participation Donations are vital to the operations of the Del Mar Athletic Department and help to cover expenses such as CIF, CCS and BVAL dues, officials, transportation, uniforms, equipment, awards, etc. Coaches may also run fundraisers and/or ask for donations to raise money to cover costs that are above and beyond the basic needs for their sport like additional clothing, registration costs for tournaments, etc. We strive to provide a positive experience for our student/athletes and appreciate your support in doing so.
