Thank you for joining us for 8th Grade Family Night on January 29, 2024. In addition to the family night, throughout February 20224, our Guidance Counselors are visiting local middle schools with detailed programming information for 9th grade.

9th Grade Supply ListA list of supplies may be accessed at: https://bit.ly/dmhs9thgradesupplies. Please note that once the school year begins, teachers may request additional supplies relative to course requirements. Teachers will communicate with students and parents as needed.

Counselor visits
Shadow days
Del Mar offers shadow days for prospective 9th grade students. To learn how and when you can visit for a day, please refer to our webpage at: https://delmar.cuhsd.org/apps/pages/shadowdays.
Choosing your classes
Choose your classes wisely. Get input from current teachers and counselors. Challenge yourself by taking ICAP classes in English, Science or History. Programs such as AVID, Band, ROTC and Leadership build strong students by teaching you how to balance your time with academics and extracurricular activities.
