About me

This is Ms. A!  

 

I am so excited to be starting my teaching career at Del Mar High School.  I graduated from Stanford in 2024 with a Master of Arts in Education and UCLA in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology.  I've lived in East Side San Jose since high school and am proud of my Bay Area roots.  

 

I wanted to become a teacher because I have had great teachers in my life who have supported me and believed in me when no one else would.  From my mom to my college professors and everyone in between, I can truly say that I would not be here if it wasn't for people guiding me.  Teaching to me means meeting students where they are and, through love, support, and guidance, showing students where they could be and helping them achieve their goals.  

 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reviewing music, watching cooking videos, reading novels and manga, and watching sports!
