Title I & School Site Council Meeting

Thank you for your interest in the School Site Council!

The SSC is a representative body composed of staff, parents, community members, and students. Its primary responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing student achievement data, gathering community input, developing the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and monitoring the implementation of the school budget and improvement strategies. This ensures that the school meets its goals while adhering to state and federal regulations (California Department of Education).
 
This year, our School Site Council meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month from 6-7pm via Zoom. The scheduled meetings are as follows:
  • October 15, 2024
  • November 19, 2024
  • December 17, 2024
  • January 21, 2025
  • (No meeting in February)
  • March 18, 2025
  • April 15, 2025 (This meeting may be rescheduled due to a conflict with PTSA.)
  • May 20, 2025

Del Mar High School receives a Title I federal grant to help support our students' academic performance.  To learn more about Title I, you may review the following:
 
1) Board Policies that discuss District Strategies for Title I Schools around Parent Involvement. These policies ensure that parents/guardians and family members of students participating in Title I programs are provided with opportunities to be involved in their children's education.

4) Del Mar High School's Family/Parent School Compact for 2022-2023 - an outline of how Del Mar High School parents/families, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. Document is provided in English and Spanish. An updated document will be provided soon.
