image of chasity knight - college and career specialist

My name is Chasity Knight and I am from Charlotte, NC. I'm really excited to work in your great community! I began my undergraduate studies at Benedict College in Columbia, SC, and received a BA degree in History. My graduate studies began at Columbia College in Columbia, SC, where I received my MA degree in Divergent Learning Education. After leaving Columbia, SC, I relocated to Charlotte, NC, where I attended the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

As your College and Career Center Specialist I am here to help students extend their academic goals beyond high school. Education is the foundation to unlocking your full potential. The center will support students with a desire to go to college, career research, military, and community outreach opportunities.

All students can make an appointment or drop by the College and Career Center during their lunch time. Always feel free to email me at any time.

Thank you,

COLLEGE REPS - SCHEDULE COLLEGE VISITS AT DEL MAR

All five high schools in our District are taking advantage of the shared bell schedule and virtual platform.  We are working together to coordinate the fall college visit schedule.  Please visit bit.ly/CUHSDvisitSignup for more information and to sign up.  Thank you.

2020-21 COLLEGE AND CAREER EVENTS CALENDAR

The calendar is updated as visits are scheduled, changed, or canceled. We would like to remind you to check the calendar frequently and to note that Naviance has the most up-to-date listings of college visits. Students who list their favorite colleges in Naviance will receive emails as those visits are scheduled. You can access Naviance at: delmar.cuhsd.org/apps/pages/naviance.

All on-campus visits are 40 minutes long, and to attend, students are required to obtain a permission form from their teacher. To enter all presentations students must present an ADMIT TO CLASS FORM (available for download following the calendar). The form will be signed by the College and Career Center Specialist and returned to students to present to their next class period teacher.
