Interests Outside of School: When not immersed in the academic world, I enjoy exploring the intersections of art, literature, and philosophy in contemporary culture. I’m an avid fan of anime and comics, and I love diving into the worlds they create. Watching horror films, particularly those from A24, is another passion of mine, as is going to concerts.
Why I Love Teaching: Teaching offers me the unique opportunity to engage with students on a journey of intellectual discovery. I am passionate about fostering critical thinking and encouraging students to explore and question the world around them. Each classroom is its own ecosystem of growth, where I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs and abilities of my students. Building rapport with students is essential for creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Why I Became a Teacher: My journey into education began with a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of knowledge. Inspired by Derrida’s notion that "Theory is not enough, there must be practice," I see teaching as a way to bridge the gap between philosophical inquiry and real-world application. I strive to help students develop not just academically, but as thoughtful, introspective individuals ready to engage with the complexities of the world.
