About Me

Prior to working at Del Mar I was teaching in my hometown back in Richmond, CA where I started my career as an educator at De Anza High School in 2018. I have taught several courses including AP Government, World History, Government and Economics as well as an Introduction to Law CTE course. Other roles I was a part of at De Anza High School included being a Tech Lead, Dept.  Chair and a member of the instructional Leader's Team.

Born and raised in San Pablo, CA, I graduated High School from Richmond High and went to San Jose State in 2017 where I received my B.A. in Social Science Teaching Prep and a Minor in Mexican American Studies. In 2021, I received my M.S. in Educational Technology and teaching credentials from Cal State East Bay.

I was inspired to become an educator because of my love for learning and ambition to make a difference in my community.
