Hello!
Hello Del Mar High School Community!
My name is Lindsey Perez, and I’m thrilled to join the team as your new Community Schools Coordinator. I was born and raised in San Jose, CA, with strong roots in my Mexican American heritage, particularly from Oaxaca. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Jose State University, specializing in Community Change, and my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara University.
Before coming to Del Mar, I worked at The Foundation for Hispanic Education, where I developed a passion for creating equitable opportunities for students and families. As your Community Schools Coordinator, I’m excited to continue this work by focusing on student voice, parent engagement, and bringing valuable resources to our school.
In my free time, I love doing arts and crafts, reading, hiking, and spending time with my family, indulging in new adventures with friends—and being a cat mom to my two cats, Ollie and Luna. I look forward to getting to know all of you and working together to help our students thrive!
