About Me
I'm excited to continue my journey in educational leadership at Del Mar high school. Prior to starting here I was a Social Sciences teacher, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal at Downtown College Prep El Primero high school in Downtown San Jose over the last 8 years. I am a San Jose native through and through, as I was born and raised here, and went to SJSU to earn both my undergraduate degree in Political Science and my single subject teaching credential. After a few years in the classroom I felt a strong call to educational leadership so I went back to school to receive my Administrative Services credential through Loyola Marymount University. When I'm not busy at work or at home with my wife and two cats, you can find me:
- Hanging out with family and friends at events or game nights
- Working out at Orange Theory or on trail runs
- At the beach or amongst the redwoods
- Rooting on the 49ers, Warriors, and Giants
"Do hard things. Because there's nothing better than a hard-earned win. The pain. The struggle. The resilience. The grit. And then, the reward. The joy of knowing that you paid the cost of entry for the thing you wanted to achieve. Hard things are good for the soul" - Sahil Bloom
