Hi everyone!
My name is Elizabeth Jimenez and I’m excited to be serving as a bilingual book room clerk here at Del Mar - Go Dons! I love helping students discover books, resources, and stories that spark curiosity and open doors to new worlds.
A little about me:
1 I grew up in East Side San Jose and graduated in 2014.
2 I have always had a deep love for music, history, and culture P.S I also collect Vinyl's *share your music with me :)
3 I studied Chicano Studies, Black History, and social studies because learning about our roots helps us understand who we are and where we’re going.
4 I enjoy exploring, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures wherever I go.
5 Outside of school, I love spending time with my son, my loving partner, and our pets a sweet dog named Chai Italia and 8 (yes, 8!) adorable guinea pigs.
6 I’m a big sports fan, and I live by Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality,” staying focused and always striving to be better.
7 Music inspires me every day especially Kendrick Lamar, whose words remind me to stay true to myself, rise above struggles, and use knowledge as power.
My goal here is simple: to make the library a welcoming place where every student can find the resources, encouragement, and inspiration they need to succeed.
