About Me!

Hi, my name is Katelyn Jakubowski, and I am happy to return to Del Mar as an alumna, now teaching English! 💌

I attended UC San Diego, where I graduated with High Honors, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's in Literature/ Writing with a minor in Education Studies. I then went on to earn my Master's in Education from UCSD as well. 🔱  Go Tritons!

My goal is to empower students through literacy, giving them the skills to articulate their opinions, advocate for themselves, and participate in conversations with others!

In my free time, I love anything creative-- painting, drawing, writing, sewing, crocheting. I love spending time with my family, playing with my baby nephews, and my siblings. I frequently visit Santa Cruz for day trips to the beach and time with my friends.
