About Mrs. Geiman
Hi, my name is Mrs. Jennifer Geiman, and I teach English Language Arts at Del Mar. I have been teaching English at DM since 1997!
I graduated from San Francisco State University with studies in both the English and German languages. In addition to holding a teaching credential in English, I am also a fully-credentialed German teacher. I learned to speak, read and write German when I lived in Germany from 1989-1991. While I was there I studied at the Universitat Tuebingen (The University of Tuebingen) in the southwestern region of Germany.
Outside of school I am a wife and mother. My husband and I have been married since 1998. We had a daughter in 2005, and she is definitely the light of our lives!
My hobbies include cooking, camping, hiking, watching movies, and of course reading! I also enjoy traveling, and am always dreaming of the next place I'd like to visit.
What I most enjoy about teaching is that, like my students, I am always learning and growing. Teaching continues to develop my mind and my soul. I also love how as a teacher I stay connected to kids, which in some ways makes me "forever young."
What is Success?

easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded."
