MEET THE DEL MAR DISPATCH VIA SJSU'S VODCAST!

There is a new elective class offered at Del Mar this year: Introduction to Media Studies. The class is a Career and Technical Education elective. Students in the Introduction to Media Studies course produce the student-run newspaper called The Dispatch and manage the corresponding Instagram account. As part of their studies, the Lead Editors of The Dispatch, Mayah, Lunna and Sophia, recorded a vodcast with their advisor, Ms. Olamit, at San Jose State University.The vodcast recapped a field trip the class took to get firsthand experience with SJSU's students in the School of Mass Communications and Journalism. They also promoted the upcoming internship SJSU undergrads can participate in to mentor and support the students in the Media Studies course.
