Badminton

Number of Teams: 1 - Varsity; The team is co-ed. A match consists of 3 Girls' Singles, 3 Boys' Singles, 3 Girls' Doubles, 3 Boys' Doubles, and 3 Mixed Doubles.

Tryouts:  There are no tryouts; all athletes that choose to participate on the team are on the team. A ladder is created so that students know where they rank and whom they can challenge. Athletes who are participating in a winter sport must wait until the end of their sport to try out, and at that time will be accorded a full tryout.

Season:  Spring Season of sport, which runs from January to May.

Schedule/League:  The team has 18 league matches in the BVAL West Valley Division. BVAL West Valley consists of Christopher, James Lick, Lincoln, Live Oak, Oak Grove, San Jose High, Sobrato, Willow Glen

CCS Playoffs:  Central Coast Section Playoffs are for Varsity only and is played the last 2 weeks in February.
