Field Hockey

Number of Teams: 2 - Varsity, and Junior Varsity, 

 

Tryouts: We usually have over 50 young women trying out for these very competitive teams. Every athlete trying out is accorded 3 days of tryouts, with team selection occurring after the 3rd day. Each team carries between 15 and 20 athletes. Athletes who are participating in a fall sport must wait until the end of their sport to try out, and at that time will be accorded a full tryout.

 

Season: Fall Season of sport, which runs from August to November.

 

Schedule/League: The team has 14 league matches in the BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division . BVAL Mt. Hamilton consists of Branham, Leigh, Leland, Live Oak, Prospect, Sobrato, Westmont, and Willow Glen.

 

CCS Playoffs:  Central Coast Section Playoffs are for Varsity only and is played the last 2 weeks in November
