Strive Virtual College Exploration Week

The Strive Virtual College Exploration Week is an online event for current Juniors and underclassmen, and includes the following:

  • An extensive agenda of information sessions hosted by college representatives from across the nation

  • Panel-style presentations with two or more colleges collaborating together to present on hot-button topics

  • Group presentation topics will cover common college questions, as well as more specialized topics and issues

    • Examples: Paying for College, Essay Writing, the Value of a Liberal Arts Education, Video Game Design, LGBTQ Issues on Campus

  • Colleges with a shared affinity, characteristic, or geography will collaborate to present on their schools together. For example the BIG10 colleges, Colleges That Change Lives, HBCUs, Public Colleges in the Northwest.

  • Sonoma State University will be participating in two sessions that will cover the California State University System, which will be presented both in English and Spanish. If you could help by advertising this great opportunity to all of your High School Juniors, it would be greatly appreciated.
