Hello!

Hello Dons, Coach Laza here!

 

I am thrilled to experience my first year of high school PE with you! My experience includes a background in early childhood education, and over 7 years of teaching in preschool. I am an alumni from San Francisco State University and am currently in Cal State East Bay, working toward my credential.

 

I was born and raised in Santa Clara, and absolutely love having the honor to teach the future generations of the Silicon Valley. Ever since I was a youngster, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. A coach of mine from Pomeroy Elementary, by the name of Tom Goodson, left such a positive impact on me and my life. I hope I can be half as good as he was, and leave a positive imprint on my students here at Del Mar. 

 

Additionally, I am a proud mother of two, a boy and a girl, who I love exploring beaches and hiking trails all over California with.
